What we seek from the international partners, is not only the financial investment, but also the personal involvement in the lives of those helped. All projects are aimed to create a fair life for those who participate. Our goal is to announce the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to be his hands and feet.
The Tortilla Factory is a good example. Jobs are created, the moms get a short schedule of work so that they can come back home earlier, they get a very fair salary (4 times the minimum salary), health care, and other benefits. The initial investment of the factory was $15,000 and as of April 2008 has paid more than $32,000 of salaries, and produces an average of 25,000 tortillas a day.
